Job summary

VersaTech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator to lead end-to-end development, management, and submission of government proposals.

You will work with senior leadership, BD and sales teams, solution architects, SMEs, and contracts, following the Shipley process to ensure compliant, winning content. You will use AI tools to speed up analysis, drafting, and editing while maintaining VersaTech’s voice and win themes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of proposal experience in federal government contracting.
• Working knowledge of the Shipley proposal process and color team reviews.
• Proven ability to read and analyze solicitations (Sections L and M) and build compliance matrices.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in professional writing or proposal work.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Experience submitting through government portals (GSA eBuy, SAM.gov, PIEE, etc.).
• Strategic thinker able to qualify opportunities and align team to win themes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development, management, coordination, and submission of government proposals.
• Plan, strategize, and drive proposal development with win themes and discriminators.
• Manage the proposal schedule and milestones across multiple simultaneous bids.
• Coordinate color team reviews, compliance, and quality across all volumes.
• Ensure proposal content is accurate, compliant, and defensible; manage AI-assisted improvements.
• Collaborate with BD, solution architects, SMEs, contracts, and teaming partners.
