Job summary

VSolvit is seeking a seasoned Proposal Writer 3 to join our dynamic Business Development group. You will support the proposal development team by producing highly technical, compliant responses for SSNs, RFIs, RFPs, and related federal contracting opportunities, often leading the creation of complex written deliverables.

You will collaborate with Capture Managers, SMEs, and program staff, mentor junior writers, and integrate GenAI tools to increase efficiency while preserving quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or English.
• Strong writing and analytical abilities with the capacity to learn technical terms.
• Experience interviewing SMEs and working in team environments.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing requisitions / labor category descriptions for proposals.
• Collaborate with Capture and Proposal Managers to implement win themes.
• Develop and write resumes and past performance volumes for proposals.
• Create technology solution and management approach responses for submissions.
• Research and write responses for SSN and RFI submissions.
• Ensure content clarity, accuracy, Persuasion, and compliance with instructions.
• Develop response templates and maintain knowledge repositories.
• Interview SMEs and program managers to gather required content.
• Leverage GenAI to research topics and generate content ideas.
• Mentor and review work of junior writers.
