Job summary

Invited is seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to oversee the daily operations of the golf department, supervise all non-exempt staff, and manage pro-shop merchandising in alignment with club standards.

The role includes managing outside services, planning tournaments, and promoting member engagement while upholding PGA standards and leadership in the absence of the Director of Golf.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PGA Level 2 certification preferred.
• Strong customer service experience with golf knowledge.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Commitment to ethical work standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead golf and pro-shop attendants and outside services staff with customer service focus.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback to management.
• Address personnel matters with HR and management guidance.
• Develop and oversee staffing schedules for golf ops and pro-shop.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of outside service areas and carts.
• Enforce company policies and safety standards with timely action.
• Oversee all golf operations including pro-shop and practice facilities.
• Manage pro-shop merchandising, budgeting, inventory, and purchasing strategies.
• Plan and execute club tournaments and events, including handicap program management.
• Foster member relationships and promote golf programs and events.
