Job summary

Invited Clubs in Corinth, TX is seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to supervise daily golf department operations, mentor staff, and consistently deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will lead pro-shop and outside services teams, oversee merchandising and tournaments, and ensure PGA standards and Invited policies are followed.

This role focuses on staff development, operational excellence, and building engaging programs that enhance member satisfaction and club life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PGA certification at level 2 preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead golf and pro-shop attendants and outside services staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for compensation and advancement.
• Address personnel matters in coordination with HR and management.
• Develop and oversee staff schedules and recruitment to maintain service quality.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of outside service areas and practice facilities.
• Oversee golf operations, pro-shop, outside services, and practice facilities.
• Manage pro-shop merchandising, budgeting, inventory, and purchasing strategies.
• Plan and execute club tournaments and events, including handicap programs.
• Promote golf programs to engage members and support community involvement.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional.
