Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Section Responsible Systems Engineer to lead requirements, verification, and program tasks onsite. You will mentor team members and collaborate with the Chief Engineer and IPTLs to ensure rigorous testing and validation across subsystems.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with preferred DoD-focused background and experience in DOORS, Cameo, and CPDM. U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with ≥5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with systems software/firmware/hardware or requirements.
• Experience in test planning and verification/qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead updates and maintenance of system and subsystem requirements.
• Serve as systems technical lead for verification and qualification testing.
• Collaborate with IPTLs and Chief Engineer on program tasks.
• Lead System Verification Reviews with leadership teams.
• Be the go-to Systems Engineer for the program.
• Mentor new team members using core Systems Engineering skills.
