Job summary

RTX is hiring an entry-level Systems Engineer – Guidance, Navigation, and Control in Tucson, AZ to support missile program development. You will work on embedded software algorithms under a cross‑functional team involved in CFD analyses and flight testing.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related STEM field and experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Linux; familiarity with GNC, Kalman filtering, and sensor systems is preferred. On-site work with security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or a related STEM field is required by start date.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Object‑Oriented design and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with GNC systems, modeling & simulation techniques, digital/modern control systems, Kalman filter design, and sensor systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of current and upcoming missile programs as a Systems Engineer – Guidance, Navigation, and Control.
• Develop, evaluate, and integrate embedded software algorithms.
• Collaborate with a team to validate designs through flight testing and subsystem testing.
