Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer in Tucson, AZ. You will contribute to embedded software algorithms, work within an integrated product team, and help deliver 6-DoF simulations to meet system performance requirements.

The role requires 8+ years in GNC, signal processing, and/or modeling/simulation, plus proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++. This onsite position offers relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or OO design.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Perform system-level performance studies and analyses for new capabilities and obsolescence.
• Lead development within an agile framework and guide backlog planning.
