Job summary

Raytheon’s Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control Engineer.

You will help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for 6-DoF simulations and flight software in an onsite role. You will collaborate with engineers in an integrated product team to achieve performance requirements and support tactical software and firmware development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
10+ years of relevant experience in GNC, signal processing or modeling/simulation.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and OO design.
Strong pursuit of system-level performance assessments.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, and test embedded missile flight code.
Conduct system-level performance studies to guide capability development.
Lead backlog planning and metrics in an agile framework.
Mentor engineers and help train the team for efficient execution.
Support missile performance analysis including model development and Monte Carlo assessments.
