Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a senior-level GME Program Coordinator to provide strategic direction and oversee one or more residency/fellowship programs. You will work closely with the Program Director to develop and execute program strategy, mentor junior coordinators, and drive initiatives that advance program quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or healthcare administration or related field.
• ACGME program coordination experience required or equivalent.
• Experience with governance, policy development, and program strategy.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic planning and development of the GME program with the Program Director.
• Oversees resident recruitment, onboarding, and educational experiences.
• Develops innovative educational strategies to improve resident learning.
• Manages program evaluation and data analysis for continuous improvement.
• Oversees accreditation activities and ensures compliance with ACGME requirements.
• Advises the Program Director on policies and strategic initiatives.
• Mentors junior coordinators and may supervise staff.
• Represents the program at national/international meetings.
• Builds relationships with faculty, residents, and external bodies.
• Oversees budget forecasting and compliance with financial regulations.
