Job summary

Northrop Grumman, a leader in defense technology, is seeking a Sr. Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level 4).

The role sits within the Global Trade organization and supports the WIMS Business Unit from NGDS offices in McLean, Linthicum, or Warner Robins. The position emphasizes export control compliance, classification determinations, and regulatory policy implementation to protect national security while enabling complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years, or Master’s + 6+ years; four additional years can substitute.
• Experience applying ITAR/EAR and making jurisdiction/classification determinations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%)

Responsibilities

• Manage internal export/import controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Submit licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations.
• Conduct gate reviews of technical data, travel, and export/import shipments.
• Maintain trade compliance records per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with functional areas to implement authorized strategies.
