Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Global Trade Analyst (Level 3) to join our team. The role involves interpreting ITAR and EAR regulations, coordinating with various departments to determine export/import needs, and managing authorization processes for international programs.

You will support compliance efforts and train staff while working in a hybrid environment across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of import/export trade compliance and/or international contracts experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 9 years of related experience accepted.
• Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and interpretation of USG export/import regulations (ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott, Census, Customs).
• Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, and New Business to determine export/import needs.
• Prepare and submit export/import authorization requests and manage post-approval activities (recordkeeping, reporting, data exports, shipping authorizations).
• Help develop and implement strategies to meet business requirements and compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Deliver training in meetings and answer questions from management, employees, customers and vendors.
• Support corrective actions and negotiate export/import control issues to resolve them effectively.
