Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Global Trade Analyst - level 3 to join our team. You will interpret ITAR, EAR and related export regulations while coordinating with Contracts, Supply Chain, and Program Management to meet international program needs.

This role is hybrid, based at Redondo Beach, CA, with travel up to 10% and no relocation. A bachelor's degree with 5+ years of export compliance experience is required, and you must be able to obtain a US secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of import/export trade compliance experience.
• Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and interpretation of USG regulations, including ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott Regulations, US Census and Customs Regulations.
• Working with Contracts, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, Engineering, New Business to determine export/import needs.
• Preparing and submitting export/import authorization requests and managing post-approval activities.
• Assisting Global Trade Manager to develop strategies to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.
• Presenting in meetings, training environments and addressing questions on export/import compliance.
• Supporting corrective action and negotiating export/import issues with internal and external customers.
