Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Global Supply Chain to support the legal needs of our global supply chain operations. This hybrid role involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts and advising on environmental, health, safety, and ESG matters.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement compliant procurement strategies and develop policy guidance and training materials for global supply chain compliance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one state.
• Approximately 7–12 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in-house department, or both.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, services, etc.).
• Working knowledge of legal issues affecting global supply chain operations (supplier risk, EHS, trade, customs, etc.).
• Experience managing outside counsel and coordinating local-law advice across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day and strategic legal support to the Global Supply Chain function.
• Draft, review, and negotiate procurement and supply chain contracts; advise on EHS matters.
• Assist in drafting, maintaining, and managing policies, procedures, guidance, and training related to global supply chain compliance and ESG.
