Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Risk Manager for Global Risk Management based in Dublin, Ohio, with monthly and quarterly site visits. You will manage domestic and international primary casualty programs, lead renewals, and engage brokers and underwriters to ensure optimal coverage and compliance.

You will also oversee captive insurance activities, quarterly reserve analyses, budgeting, RMIS administration, and due diligence for acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Admin, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years risk management experience and captive experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret laws, regulations and contracts.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; able to present to senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and Origami experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages domestic and international primary casualty programs and umbrella coverages; renewals and negotiations.
• Directs brokers and underwriters; establishes market relationships for capacity.
• Supports captive insurance company and reinsurance arrangements.
• Prepares quarterly reserve analyses with actuaries and reports results.
• Prepares budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses for the insurance program.
• Acts as RMIS system administrator and conducts due diligence for acquisitions.
• Identifies risk exposures and advises retention or transfer strategies.
• Negotiates contract insurance provisions and indemnification terms.
• Leads risk management projects as assigned.
