Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Risk Management professional based in Ohio with monthly to quarterly in-office meetings in Dublin, OH. You will lead domestic and international casualty programs, manage captive reinsurance arrangements, and work with underwriters and brokers to optimize risk transfer strategies.

The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic planning, and the ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 8+ years risk management experience and captive experience preferred
• Ability to analyze information and present clear recommendations to senior leadership
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel expertise; SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Reports to Director, Global Risk Management.
• Manages domestic and international primary casualty programs and non-products umbrella.
• Negotiates policy terms, renewals, and regulator compliance; works with brokers and carriers.
• Directs captive insurance activities and interacts with captive manager.
• Completes quarterly reserve analyses with actuaries and communicates results.
