Cardinal Health is seeking a Global Risk Management professional based in Ohio with mobility to Dublin, OH for key meetings. You will manage domestic/international casualty programs, renewals, broker relationships, and captive/reinsurance activities to protect assets.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of risk management experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency with RMIS systems and SAP. Travel and leadership duties expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 8+ years risk management experience preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to negotiate terms with underwriters and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manages domestic and international primary casualty insurance programs and non-products umbrella.
• Renewal of policies, risk presentation to underwriters, terms negotiation, regulatory compliance.
• Support renewal submissions and underwriting inquiries.
• Directs brokers in renewal strategies, carrier selection, and pricing.
• Engage worldwide markets to ensure capacity for exposures.
• Support Cardinal Health captive insurance company and external manager.
• Manage captive reinsurance arrangements and group captive projects.
• Coordinate with actuaries for quarterly reserve analysis and reporting.
• Prepare cost reports, budgets, and loss history analyses.
• Recommend risk management budgets and unit allocations.
• Serve as RMIS system administrator and data steward.
• Perform due diligence on acquisitions, analyze risk exposures.
• Integrate acquired businesses into existing insurance programs.
• Identify new risk exposures and advise retention vs transfer.
