Job summary

Cardinal Health's Global Risk Management team seeks an experienced professional to lead domestic and international primary casualty programs, captive reinsurance and risk transfer strategies. You will renew policies, negotiate terms, manage brokers, and coordinate with actuaries for reserve analyses.

The role involves reporting on insurance costs, budgets and loss experience, plus directing risk projects and due diligence for acquisitions. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field preferred.
• 8+ years risk management experience and captive experience preferred.
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, and make sound judgements.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior management.
• Ability to plan, organize resources, and manage multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international casualty programs and fronted liability.
• Renew policies, negotiate terms, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct brokers, negotiate coverage and premiums; engage markets globally.
• Oversee captive reinsurance arrangements and captive manager interactions.
• Work with actuaries on reserve analyses and report results.
