Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced leader for Global Risk Management in the United States with responsibility for domestic and international insurance programs, captive structures, risk analysis and regulatory compliance. The role reports to senior leadership and partners with actuaries and brokers to manage exposures and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field such as Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong analytical and financial presentation skills
• Ability to interpret laws, regulations and contracts and to communicate risk to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manages domestic and international primary casualty commercial insurance programs and fronted policies, renewal negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports renewal submissions and underwriting inquiries.
• Directs brokers to determine renewal strategies and carrier selection; builds worldwide market relationships.
• Administers captive reinsurance arrangements and supports risk financing projects.
• Performs due diligence on acquisitions, analyzes risks, and integrates acquisitions into insurance programs.
• Prepares risk reports, budgets, forecasts and analyzes loss experience.
