Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate/M&A attorney to deliver business‑oriented legal services across a global organization. The role requires handling significant transactions from inception to closing, partnering with Corporate Development and Strategy, and coordinating with Finance, Tax, and other Legal teams.

Requires a J.D. and state bar admission with 7+ years of corporate/M&A experience; healthcare familiarity is a plus. Comprehensive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more practice areas.
• Law degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and strategic counseling on significant corporate transactions.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions through all phases.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs/term sheets, and definitive agreements.
• Lead due diligence and translate findings into transaction protections.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Tax, Compliance, HR and other teams.
