Cencora, Inc. is seeking an experienced corporate/M&A attorney to deliver business-oriented legal services and strategic counsel across significant transactions for its global organization.

The role requires managing deals from inception through closing, coordinating with Corporate Development, Finance, and Tax, and controlling outside counsel. Strong drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice (e.g., M&A, contracts, securities, health law).
• Law degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
• Ability to provide business-oriented legal advice and strategic counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice and strategic counseling on significant transactions.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and strategic transactions from inception through closing and post-closing integration.
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, LOIs/term sheets, transaction agreements, and ancillary documents.
• Lead due diligence and translate findings into transaction protections.
• Coordinate with Corporate Development, Finance, Tax, and other teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
