Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a skilled attorney with strong Corporate/M&A experience to deliver business‑oriented legal services and strategic guidance across a global organization. The role emphasizes project management, cross‑functional collaboration, and buy‑side/sell‑side deal leadership.

The candidate should manage complex transactions end‑to‑end, coordinate internal teams, and effectively work with outside counsel while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a lawyer with expertise in one or more specialty areas of legal practice.
• Law Degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice and strategic counsel on significant transactions across Cencora’s global organization.
• Independently manage domestic and international M&A and other strategic transactions from inception through closing and post‑closing integration.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, LOIs/term sheets, definitive transaction agreements and ancillary documents.
• Lead and coordinate legal due diligence, identify material risks, and translate findings into protections.
• Partner with Corporate Development and Strategy throughout the deal lifecycle and work with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Compliance, HR, IT, and other Legal teams.
