StaffBuffalo, LLC seeks an International Logistics Coordinator in Getzville, NY to manage shipments from origin to delivery, collaborating with freight forwarders, brokers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams. The role emphasizes ownership of international imports, documentation accuracy, and cost negotiation.

Qualificações

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating international imports, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or global transportation.
• Experience managing high volume shipments with freight forwarders and brokers.
• Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and import processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and office tools.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience with IBM i / AS400 is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant logistics experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate international and domestic shipments from booking through final delivery with carriers, forwarders, brokers, ports, and warehouses.
• Manage import activity including customs clearance, ocean freight, drayage, scheduling, and costs.
• Prepare and organize shipping documentation to ensure timely movement.
• Track shipments, identify delays, and coordinate solutions with partners.
• Communicate shipment status to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate purchasing, sales, inventory movement, and customer requirements with traders.
• Negotiate freight and logistics costs while maintaining accurate records.
