Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with freight forwarding software.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding or logistics and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service by building relationships with customers’ front line personnel.
• Prepare and submit documentation to agents and clients to ensure compliance with transportation laws.
• Identify and resolve issues that could delay freight movement and release.
• Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers to exceed client expectations.
• Handle billing inquiries and ensure accurate invoicing and payments.
• Develop quotes for freight movements and research air carriers and rates.
• Coordinate hazardous materials, out-of-gauge, and ITAR shipments as needed.
• Assist in account implementation and SOP development with customers, operations, and sales.
