Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate the movement of customers' goods, perform data entry, and deliver exceptional service. You will prepare, issue and submit shipping documents and advise clients on terms of delivery.

The role will be based at the San Francisco DHL Global Forwarding facility. Key duties include coordinating domestic, export and import shipments, invoicing, tracking, and updating customer profiles using multiple software

Qualifications

US citizenship is required.
1-5 years in international logistics.
Experience in air freight and ocean freight services.
Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 clearance preferred but not required at hire.
Government contracts and ITAR experience required.
Proven track record in customer service and strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and common freight software.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between all applicable parties for domestic, export & import shipments to meet service commitments.
Prepare, issue and submit shipping documents and advise clients on terms of delivery.
Ensure invoices for services are completed accurately and timely.
Track shipments and manage document imaging processes.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer profiles.
Data entry using multiple software systems.
