Job summary

FedEx Logistics in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the movement of freight and coordinate with internal teams and customers. You will manage documentation, communicate with customs and brokers, and ensure timely release of shipments.

Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of brokerage/transportation or customer service experience, strong problem solving and data entry skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and related federal regulations.
• Proficient computer skills; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain strong relationships with customers' front line personnel.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to customs, agents, clients.
• Research and resolve problems delaying freight release or movement.
• Develop rates and/or provide quotes for freight movement.
• Handle billing issues and ensure accurate invoicing.
