Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year associate's or college degree preferred/equivalent in business and/or minimum 3 years business experience in the appropriate product field/industry.
• License or certification in appropriate product field preferred: transportation-imdg certification and/or ocean forwarders certification.
• Minimum 5 years of Air/ocean freight forwarding experience in either import or export operations.
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership, supervisory, or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control input, movement, process/sort, and output of operations to ensure service quality at minimal cost.
• Maintain reports, payroll, performance reviews, and personnel records.
• Oversee safety programs and ensure staff is trained in service-minded procedures.
• Maintain contact with customers regarding conditions affecting service levels.
• Oversee movement and activities of products to ensure maximum efficiency.
