Job summary

Supermicro in San José, CA seeks a Sr. Global Stock Plan Administrator Contractor to join our Accounting team. You will manage day-to-day equity administration, ensure accuracy of Equity Edge Online data, and support month‑end through year‑end reporting.

The role demands eight+ years of global equity experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong confidentiality. You will coordinate with HR, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors, prepare SEC filings, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience administering global equity compensation programs.
• Experience with Equity Edge Online (EEO) required; Merrill Lynch platforms a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis, reconcilations, and complex spreadsheets.
• Strong knowledge of stock-based compensation accounting and tax reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting multinational/global equity programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of Equity Edge Online and Merrill Lynch databases.
• Administer global equity transactions including stock options and RSUs.
• Coordinate quarterly grant process with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain electronic equity award agreements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end equity reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and schedules for stock-based compensation.
• Assist with SEC Forms 3, 4, and 5 filings.
• Support equity-related disclosures for Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and proxy statements.
• Provide tax reports to Payroll for NQO, ISO, and RSU.
• Generate standard and ad hoc reports for Finance, HR, Payroll, etc.
