Job summary

Western Digital Corp. seeks an experienced Employee Relations leader to drive cross-border ER programs across the US and EMEA. You will guide managers, handle complex cases, and support investigations while partnering with HR and Legal teams to ensure compliant, respectful workplaces.

You will coach leaders, develop scalable ER programs, and analyze data to inform decisions in a fast-paced global environment. Strong Workday experience and multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in US and EMEA employment laws and workplace culture.
• Experience navigating cross-border employment matters with regional HR and Legal teams.
• Strong judgment and decision-making in employee matters.
• Excellent coaching and consulting capabilities to elevate manager effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for employee relations across US and EMEA.
• Lead and manage complex ER cases including misconduct and performance management.
• Support investigations with thorough fact-finding and actionable recommendations.
• Lead labor relations activities and negotiate with unions and employee representatives.
• Coach leaders on performance management and documentation standards.
• Develop scalable ER programs to strengthen leadership and culture.
• Lead ER projects and drive improvements in employee experience.
• Maintain ER/IR reports and provide insights for decision-making.
