Job summary

Universal Management Services is seeking an experienced Regional Employee Relations Manager to lead ER initiatives across a diverse, geographically dispersed workforce. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, ensuring fair application of policies while fostering a positive, compliant workplace culture.

The Regional ER Manager will oversee investigations, performance management support, policy administration, and employee engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling complex matters.
Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Lead employee relations investigations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
Provide guidance to managers on performance management, discipline, and engagement.
Partner with local management to handle union grievances and hearings.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain confidential records.
Collaborate with HR and leadership on organizational effectiveness and change.
