Job summary

Relativity is seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor, handling high-risk investigations and complex performance matters. You will collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, and leadership to ensure fair, defensible outcomes while strengthening culture as the company scales.

You will lead global ER initiatives, design governance for case handling, and build scalable templates that raise the bar for documentation and consistency across teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in an employee relations or HR compliance role.
  • Experience leading workplace investigations end-to-end independently from intake through resolution.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive, high-risk cases with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Strong written communication skills, able to produce clear, legally defensible documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end investigations into complex employee relations matters.
  • Conduct structured interviews, assess credibility, synthesize evidence, and produce clear, legally defensible findings.
  • Partner with Legal to manage risk, escalation thresholds, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure policies are applied consistently across regions with consideration for local laws.
  • Advise on performance and disciplinary processes in collaboration with HRBPs.
