Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Senior Associate in San Francisco to support Relationship Managers in developing client relationships, identifying product opportunities, and delivering needs‑based solutions across a global network.

You will conduct financial and credit analysis, coordinate with product partners, and help manage risk and KYC processes while contributing to cross‑border banking opportunities within a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in corporate banking with international needs.
Track record in high performing sales teams.
Ability to identify and meet customer needs with a broad range of products.
Strong understanding of corporate banking products and cross‑border solutions.
High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with customer due diligence and high‑risk KYC.
Licensed Registered Representative; FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE; expected to obtain within 120 days.
Credit assessment and portfolio‑based credit monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

Provide support to Relationship Managers to optimize client relationships and deliver needs‑based solutions.
Attend client meetings and be the first point of contact for daily credit inquiries.
Prepare analyses, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers.
Assist with client planning, pipeline management, and coordination with product partners.
Monitor risk and ensure compliance with Global Standards and AML/Sanctions alerts.
