Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Senior Associate in San Francisco to support Relationship Managers in developing client relationships, identifying product opportunities, and delivering needs‑based solutions across a global network.

You will conduct financial and credit analysis, coordinate with product partners, and help manage risk and KYC processes while contributing to cross‑border banking opportunities within a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking with international needs.
• Track record in high performing sales teams.
• Ability to identify and meet customer needs with a broad range of products.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products and cross‑border solutions.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with customer due diligence and high‑risk KYC.
• Licensed Registered Representative; FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE; expected to obtain within 120 days.
• Credit assessment and portfolio‑based credit monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Relationship Managers to optimize client relationships and deliver needs‑based solutions.
• Attend client meetings and be the first point of contact for daily credit inquiries.
• Prepare analyses, proposals, and presentations for prospective customers.
• Assist with client planning, pipeline management, and coordination with product partners.
• Monitor risk and ensure compliance with Global Standards and AML/Sanctions alerts.
