Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in San Francisco is seeking a Sr Project Manager, Client Connectivity-Innovation Banking to design and deliver robust, secure connectivity solutions for strategic corporate clients. The role spans solution architecture, technical implementation, and end-to-end project delivery across HSBCnet, APIs, SWIFT, and H2H/file-based connectivity.

You will run technical discovery, map business outcomes to technical designs, and drive cutover planning with cross-functional teams to ensure

Qualifications

Experience in client-facing solution delivery within banking/payments/treasury/fintech.
Hands-on delivery of connectivity implementations using API or H2H/file-based approaches.
Strong knowledge of payments, ISO 20022, SWIFT connectivity, and MT→MX migration.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical approach for client connectivity implementations and artefacts.
Lead technical client workshops to document current-state and target automation.
Translate requirements into data mapping, message specs, and controls.
Lead end-to-end delivery: planning, execution and cutover with risk control.
Coordinate with global stakeholders across Product, IT, and Coverage/Sales.
Monitor post-launch connectivity performance and drive improvements.
