Job summary

Noatum Logistics is seeking a Sr Business Development Manager in Chicago to drive growth of our global 3PL Air and Ocean Freight portfolio. You will develop strategic plans, cultivate client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to expand offerings across regions and products.

The ideal candidate has a strong import/export air/ocean background, a proven BD track record, and the ability to work in a multinational environment while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years’ experience in 3PL international freight forwarding.
• Proven track record in ocean and air freight forwarding and supply chain management services.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Language skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Grow Noatum's global 3PL Air and Ocean Freight business in the Chicago region.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement BD strategies.
• Report on performance and market factors.
• Manage BD programs to promote business between specific countries and product offerings.
