Job summary

Noatum Logistics is seeking a Business Development Director to expand our air freight client base across the United States by identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored logistics solutions that support customers' supply chains.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international air freight forwarding and a proven track record of generating new business and growing accounts, with experience in ocean freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in international freight forwarding and 3PL services.
• Proven track record growing air freight in the U.S., Midwest preferred.
• Strong closing skills and relationship development.
• Knowledge of international freight forwarding and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and time management; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop new air freight opportunities while expanding ocean freight and SCM services.
• Create customer-specific business plans to exceed margins and volume.
• Analyze market conditions to inform strategy and margins.
• Coordinate with internal teams to execute growth strategies.
• Report performance and identify factors affecting customer performance.
• Manage BD programs to promote business between countries and products.
