Job summary

Noatum Logistics is seeking a Business Development Director to expand our U.S. air freight client base by identifying new opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and delivering customized logistics solutions that support customers’ supply chain objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in international air freight forwarding and a proven track record of generating new business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and 3PL services.
• Proven track record of developing new business and expanding existing business within ocean freight, air freight, and supply chain management services, including strong closing skills.
• Experience growing air freight business within the U.S. market, with Midwest experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new air freight opportunities while expanding customer utilization of ocean freight and supply chain management services.
• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that increase company margins.
• Communicate and coordinate directly with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies for new and existing customers.
• Report on performance as required, providing insight into changes in customer performance and market impact factors.
• Manage business development programs as assigned to promote business between specific countries and/or product offerings.
