Job summary

Noatum Logistics USA is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our global 3PL air and ocean freight business in the Kansas City area, including Overland Park. You will drive new business, manage regional plans, and coordinate with internal teams to execute growth strategies.

The role requires 5+ years in 3PL international freight forwarding, a proven closing track record, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in 3PL international freight forwarding.
• Proven track record in new business development and closing deals.
• Strong knowledge of air/ocean freight forwarding and supply chain services.
• Ability to work independently and in a multinational environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support Noatum Logistics USA's growth by developing new business in international air/ocean freight forwarding (primarily) along with some Ocean freight and supply chain management.
• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Understand and communicate current market conditions and business trends to create strategies that will increase company margins.
• Communicate and coordinate directly with internal teams to develop and execute business development strategies for new and existing customers.
• Report on performance as required, with insight into changes to customer performance and market impact factors.
• Manage business development programs as assigned to promote business between specific countries and/or product offerings
