Job summary

Noatum Logistics USA is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Detroit market, focusing on air/ocean freight forwarding and 3PL solutions. You will build relationships, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.

The role requires a deep understanding of international freight forwarding, CRM proficiency, and strong negotiation skills to expand Noatum Logistics’ global footprint. Hybrid work supported, travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in 3PL international freight forwarding.
• Proven track record of new and existing business development in ocean and air freight forwarding and supply chain management services, including strong closing skills.
• Strong knowledge of the international air freight forwarding and supply chain management industry and existing relationships.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Languages: two or more languages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-specific business plans to exceed margin and volume goals.
• Support growth by developing new business in international air/ocean freight forwarding.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to execute business development strategies.
• Report on performance with insights into changes to customer performance and market impact factors.
• Manage business development programs to promote business between countries or product offerings.
