The Hanover Insurance Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Underwriting Specialist with high hazard product liability experience to join our Specialty General Liability team. This full-time, exempt role may be hybrid or fully remote with occasional travel to key locations.

You will identify, underwrite, and sell new and renewal accounts, applying advanced technical, sales and analytical skills to drive profitable growth while aligning with appetites and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years Underwriting experience.
• 5-7+ years’ experience driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business.

Responsabilités

• Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal accounts with high technical complexity.
• Provide clear rating instructions for quotes and proposals.
• Manage assigned portfolio to meet growth, profitability and retention targets.
