Job summary

EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day GL, AP and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, conduct reconciliations, and assist with audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.

You’ll collaborate with EY teams to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and leverage Costpoint for system enhancements and maintenance. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek CostPoint experience.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Close subperiods, month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports.
• Maintain vendor master records and reconcile AP subledger.
• Assist with configuration and testing of Costpoint.
