Job summary

EY's Government & Infrastructure practice in the US is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support GL, AP, and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with period-end close while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Strong collaboration across finance teams is essential to deliver accurate financial reporting. You will also support audits, process improvements, and testing of Costpoint enhancements, with emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint required; proficient in Excel.
• Experience with government contracting and general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and related configurations.
• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, FAR, CAS and EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules on deadlines.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Process AP vouchers and expense reports per internal policies and FAR/DFARS/CAS.
