EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in the US to support day-to-day GL and AP/Expense activities, ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, and EY policies, and assist with audits. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities while collaborating with stakeholders across finance.

The role emphasizes process improvements, adherence to internal controls, and leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency within EY's G&I Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related accounting experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Deltek Costpoint required
• Experience with government contracting
• Experience with general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookup functions

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports
• Develop and maintain AP and expense procedure guides
• Assist with configuration and testing of Costpoint functionalities
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliant reporting
