EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in the US to support day-to-day GL, AP, and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with close processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Strong collaboration with finance teams and use of AI tools for efficiency are expected. The role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, costpoint proficiency, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint experience is required.
• Experience with government contracting and GL/AP processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger account structures and related configurations to align with system design and reporting requirements.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS compliance and EY policies in accounting transactions.
• Review journal entries for completeness and accuracy with supporting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries and schedules within deadlines and accounting requirements.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support accounts payable/expense processing and reviews; assist with audits and inquiries.
