EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day GL, AP, and expense activities for government contracting clients. You will prepare journal entries, review reconciliations, and assist with audits, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and EY policies.

You will collaborate with Finance teams across the G&I practice and may utilize AI tools like Copilot to improve efficiency. A security clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint experience required.
• Experience with government contracting and general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger account structures and perform month-end close activities.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports according to policies.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations with proper supporting documentation.
• Support internal/external audits with schedules and responses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GAAP compliance.
