Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to join our Environmental Services Geospatial team.

You’ll work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI tools to deliver spatial solutions for environmental projects and clients. You’ll lead GIS efforts on multi-disciplinary teams, manage data, budgets, and timelines, and mentor other GIS staff while maintaining data integrity and client communications.

Qualifications

• Educated knowledge of Esri ArcGIS software suite, especially ArcPro and ArcGIS Online, plus ArcGIS Experience Builder and Field Maps.
• Experience using GIS to solve problems, present results, and report analytically to multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong map-making, data management, and coordinate system understanding.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information using ESRI ArcGIS software.
• Produce custom thematic map products and data analyses for multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field survey crews using Survey123 and ArcGIS Online.
• Lead GIS projects and collaborate with internal and external staff.
