Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our Great Lakes Environmental Services team.

You will support mapping, spatial analysis, and map production within an ESRI Enterprise environment, collaborating with GIS staff across multiple offices on environmental projects. Ideal candidates have ArcGIS Pro/Online experience, GIS education, and 1–3 years in GIS services, with a preference for environmental assessments and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geoscience or Environmental Science with GIS training or coursework.
• 1–3 years of professional GIS services experience preferred.
• Experience delivering GIS products for environmental assessments or regulatory processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain spatial and non-spatial data across ESRI platforms.
• Produce thematic maps and data summaries for multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare web maps and dashboards using ArcGIS Online and Field Maps.
• Support geospatial field data collection, including wetlands and species occurrences.
• Adhere to cartographic standards and QA/QC processes.
• Collaborate with GIS staff across Stantec offices.
