Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our Environmental Services team in the US West region. You will support GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and data management in an ESRI environment, collaborating with a large group of GIS professionals to deliver solutions for clients.

The role emphasizes technical mentorship, project support, and adherence to data standards. A background in ArcGIS, field data collection, and environmental knowledge is essential, with strong communication as a core

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field and demonstrated GIS training or coursework.
2–3 years of professional GIS services experience required.
Experience delivering GIS products and analyses for environmental or utilities projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial data across platforms, primarily ESRI ArcGIS Pro and AGO.
Produce maps, data analyses, and summaries to support multidisciplinary projects.
Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field surveys (Survey123, Field Maps, AGO).
Support geospatial field data collection, including wetlands, waterways, habitats, and cultural resources.
Adhere to cartographic standards and QA/QC processes; manage project-specific geospatial data.
