Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Geospatial Analyst to join our Environmental Services Geospatial team in the US West. You will provide mapping, spatial analysis, and map production, while mentoring project staff on assigned projects.

Our group comprises over 160 geospatial professionals delivering GIS solutions within an ESRI environment. A strong driver for data management, QA/QC, and collaboration across offices is essential.

Qualifications

• Educated knowledge and experience with Esri ArcGIS software suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
• Experience building and using a GIS to solve problems and report data for multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of cartography and graphic design is helpful.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information for ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Produce custom thematic map products and data analysis summaries.
• Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field survey crews with Survey 123 and ArcGIS Online.
• Support geospatial field data collection (wetlands, waterways, habitats, resources).
• Report to the US West Geospatial Team Lead and collaborate with GIS staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
