Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to join the Environmental Services Geospatial team. You will lead GIS deliverables, develop spatial datasets, and produce web maps and dashboards in an ESRI Enterprise environment.

You will collaborate with a large team of geospatial professionals, manage project scopes, and ensure data quality while supporting client needs across environmental projects. A strong background in ArcGIS and field data collection is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Esri ArcGIS suite, especially ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Ability to solve problems with GIS and present results to multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong cartographic skills and ability to present complex data clearly.
• Experience with mobile data collection tools and AGO products.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain spatial and non-spatial data across ESRI platforms.
• Produce web maps, dashboards, and support field crews using ArcGIS Online tools.
• Lead GIS projects, manage budgets and timelines within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure data integrity and quality control across projects.
• Collaborate with clients and staff, communicating geospatial approaches.
• Mentor and support other GIS staff as needed.
