Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join the Environmental Services GIS team, providing mapping, spatial analysis, and data management within an ESRI environment. You will help design and deliver geospatial solutions for internal and external clients as part of a 160+ strong geospatial group.

You will compile spatial data, create maps, dashboards, and support field surveys with ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and Field Maps. A Bachelor's in GIS and 2–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field with GIS training or coursework.
• 2–3 years of professional GIS experience.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online.
• Ability to work effectively in an ESRI environment.

Responsibilities

• Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information across ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Produce custom thematic map products and data analyses to support multidisciplinary project deliverables.
• Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field surveys (Survey123, Field Maps, AGO).
• Support geospatial field data collection efforts and QA/QC processes.
• Mentor and support project colleagues within the West Environmental Services teams.
• Collaborate with GIS staff across Stantec offices.
• Adhere to data management standards and cartographic quality standards.
