Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our Environmental Services geospatial team in the US West. You will provide mapping, spatial analysis, and map production support, mentoring, and project assistance on ESRI-based projects.

You will work with ArcGIS Pro, AGO, and Field Maps, collaborate across offices, and help deliver GIS solutions for environmental assessments and utilities projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science or related field with GIS training or coursework.
• 2-3 years of experience providing professional GIS services is required.

Responsibilities

• Compile, create and maintain spatial and non-spatial information for ESRI ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, AGO).
• Produce custom thematic map products and carry out data analysis to support multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare web maps, dashboards, and manage data for field survey crews (Survey123, Field Maps, AGO).
• Support geospatial field data collection across wetlands, waterways, habitats, cultural resources, and other resources.
• Adhere to cartographic standards and QA/QC.
